#5 MHC West Seattle Campus Blog is Under Construction: That’s right, we’re cleaning the slate so to speak and coming back at you this fall with fresh content, photos, videos, more authors and up-to-date information about the latest in WS. #4 Fall Kick-Off Party (Wednesday, Sept 26th, 7:00-8:30PM): Mark you calendars! In light of all the changes taking place at the West Seattle campus (i.e. two services, transition to video, new leadership, etc), it’s time to party! From 7:00-8:30PM on Wednesday, September 26th, we will be kicking-off the fall with a party that will include food, socializing, meeting leaders and staff, a word about where we are going as a campus, prayer, an opportunity to sign-up to serve, and ultimately rally around Jesus and the mission that he has entrusted to us as we prepare to dive into another year. All members and anyone that senses God’s call to serve are welcome.

#3 Fall Midweek (beginning Wednesday, Oct 10th): West Seattle’s fall midweek programming will begin on Wednesday, Oct 10th, 7:00-8:30PM. Programming will include: the Gospel class (for anyone feeling called to be a Mars Hill member or to get a better idea of what we believe as a church), a class on Gospel-centered Parenting and Family Life, Kids Kore, and Mars Hill Youth (which actually begins on Wednesday, Sept. 19th watch the blog for more on that early next week).

#2 Going to Two Services on Oct 7th (9:00 and 11:15AM): You read that right. We are moving from one service on Sunday morning to two services. If you show up at 10:30AM you’ll be late for the first and super early for the second, so mark your calendars. Additionally, we will be migrating from live preaching to video preaching more on that to come as well. If you’re interested in serving (teams include: children’s, parking, security, bus drivers, greeters, ushers, etc) to help us duplicate services let Erik know at erikh@marshillchurch.org.

#1 Next Friday, Sept 14th Alki Baptism: The Mars Hill Church event of the summer is just around the corner. The West Seattle campus is hosting an all-campus baptism event on Alki, next Friday, beginning at 6:30PM. The event will include a live concert, a message by Pastor Mark, testimonies and, of course, baptisms in the Sound. Parking is available at West Seattle High School, with shuttle busses running from 5:00-9:00PM. We recommend carpooling and showing up early. For more information, go here.
