Upcoming Midweek Classes Start This Week

• Is Mars Hill your church? The Gospel class is designed as the next point of connection beyond Sunday services for those who are considering Mars Hill to be their church home. • Resurgence workshop: “Walking in the Land of Blur” – Tuesday, January 8, 2008 -Dr. Peter Jones addresses the overall context of New Age and Paganism as it affects our culture today. With the wisdom and expertise of Dr. Jones may we be enabled to preach a faithful gospel by understanding today’s current beliefs. Please register here.

• Men’s Basic Training – Are you a man? Have you ever been to a Mars Hill Men’s Advance, Boot Camp, or other men’s training? Have you started attending Mars Hill in the last year? Are you a veteran member but in need of a refresher on getting your life in order and ready for God¹s mission? Don’t miss our annual Basic Training, Saturday January 19th at Ballard, with Mars Hill Pastors as we cover the staples of what it means to be a dudely dude. This is a MUST for any man who hasn’t been to a MH men’s training and a great tool for existing members to bring new Christians and friends who need to reform and redeem views on sex, marriage, raising a family, working your job, and engineering your life to follow Jesus’ lead in creating a legacy for your family and your church. If you have a non MH attender or a non-Christian you’d like to invite, just email thier name to events@marshillchurch.org and MH will cover their registration cost and have their name on the list day of. • Monday, January 28th, 2008 Making the Band: Winter “08 – The worship department is calling all those interested in being band leaders and musicians for the purposes of broadening our reach in the church and calling leaders to step up out of the woodwork. This will also be an opportunity for musicians to connect with Band Leaders and other musicians. Email joel@marshillchurch.org for more information.
