Abiding, Pruning, and Bearing Fruit (John 15:1-11)

Given that we have just completed the 13-week Doctrine series on the central truths of the Christian faith, I thought it would be helpful to spend a couple weeks walking through the 15th chapter of the Gospel of John that describes a life that digests these truths, in faith, and lives them out day-by-day, moment-by-moment, in vital connection with Jesus Christ. Jesus describes this life in terms of abiding, pruning and bearing fruit. Given the richness of this section (15:1-17) we’ll be spending two weeks on it. The attached notes are from Sunday’s sermon, Abiding, Pruning and Bearing Fruit, covering John 15:1-11.

Grace and Peace,
Pastor Adam
