Sept 23rd | Equip with Tuesday classes

Midweek classes are now Equip – the time to get together at the West Seattle building during the week to study the bible in community. Classes will cover biblical marriage, parenting, and community. Check out the website for details.

Prayers this week:

• Give thanks for 112 people at the last 5pm service soft launch. Pray for the official launch this Sunday.

• Give thanks to God for 100+ people from Mars Hill that attended the West Seattle “Clean and Green” event on Saturday. Pray that Seattle would continue to recognize the love of Jesus Christ through this service.

• Pray for the Song of Solomon series starting this Sunday. Pray that many who do not know Jesus will see the advertisements and come on Sundays, and that God will open their hearts to the gospel. Pray that our church would proactively invite people to attend.

• Pray that God will further equip our body through the upcoming midweek training classes that will be starting next week, as well as the Apprentice training for potential community group leaders.

• Pray for a spirit of unity in the Church and that people would respond to the Mission of our church out of an identity in Jesus. Pray that we would seek to witness for Jesus in our neighborhoods, work places, schools and other communities.

• Pray that the believers at Mars Hill would take tangible steps to continue to mature in faith and bear fruit (2 Peter 1: 5-9).

• Pray that the hearts of the believers at Mars Hill would be focused on Jesus such that it becomes a joy to faithfully and sacrificially give of their time, talents, and treasure to the mission of Jesus Christ at Mars Hill (2 Corinthians 9:7).
