Equip | redemption night | Starts Jan. 13th, 7pm Tuesday is now Redemption Night for Biblical Living (Redemption Groups and Biblical Counselor training). It is too late to sign up for a group, but you can still sign-up for the General Track to attend each week’s teaching.

Equip | midweek | Starts Jan. 14th, 7pm Wednesday includes Classes and these Life Stage programs: • Caraway Street: (ages 3-9) a live children’s ministry program bringing Scripture to life with drama, music, puppets, and interactive games! • Forty-Five: (ages 10-11) 4th & 5th graders are challenged to live the basic truths of God’s Word in a fresh way through social time, games, media, and small group interaction. • Proxy and Crux: (ages 12-18) are gospel communities for youth in junior and senior high. Kids Need to Know – Sexual Abuse Awareness Seminar | Lake City Campus Jan. 17, 9am-12pm

Nothing in life has the potential to bring more agony, confusion, and fury to the heart of a person than facing the issues related with sexual abuse. Annette Schuster offers a profoundly sensitive, wise, and useful map to navigate the unique waters that parents, leaders, children’s ministry workers, and others must face when trying to protect the children, organizations, employees, volunteers, and families in their care. This is a free seminar on Jan. 17 at the Lake City Campus, but you must register on The City or AT THIS LINK to attend.

Prayers this week:

• Praise God for Zachary Jai Low, born to Pastor Cliff and Hyun Ju last Tuesday! Pray for a quick recovery for mommy and restful sleep for both parents.
• Pray for Pastor Mark and the new sermon series we begin this week on 1 & 2 Peter.
• Pray for the Equip | redemption groups that begin this week on Tuesday (Redemption Night). Appeal to the Lord that all who take part enter in with hearts willing to hear from the Lord, that all would find their identity in Christ, and that real heart healing would take place. As well, pray for the leaders of the groups for peace, patience, and discernment to point people to the cross of Christ. Pray also for those undergoing Biblical Counselor training, that they would learn to be tools the Lord will use to show His glory to those who are hurting.
• Pray for the Equip | midweek Classes and Life Stage programs that begin this week on Wednesday. Ask that many would attend, and all would learn and are blessed by the time and instruction.
• Pray for the Elders that they would be unified and walk not in their own efforts but the power of the Holy Spirit.
• Pray that the members of Mars Hill will focus on Jesus and His mission in West Seattle.
