The Gospel | The Journey Home Together, Luke 15:11-32

On January 4th 2009, I continued from where we left off in our study of 15:11-32, a parable commonly referred to as “The Parable of the Prodigal Son.” The primary storyline of the parable is that both sons are running from the father, though in different ways. But, despite their rebellion, the father leaves his home to invite them both to a great feast with him. Today we’ll see that this is not only the storyline of this parable, but of the entire Bible. Even more, its the story of which we are all a part and are invited into through Jesus Christ.
