Prayers this week:

  • Pray for the 1 Peter Series that God would open the hearts of everyone hears to be cut to the core. Pray for Pastor Mark as he preaches this series.
  • Pray against all the people that are opposing the Gospel and truth being proclaimed at Mars Hill. Pray that those who are opposing the truth would be touched by the truth and forever changed.
  • Pray for all those who are in financial need that they would find their hope and security in Jesus. Pray for those who are worshiping money rather than Jesus. Pray the people would understand the deep riches of the Gospel and would desire to give out of that understanding. Pray for the Stewardship seminar on the 21st of February.
  • Pray for Mars Hill community groups – that current and newly forming groups will serve to further the kingdom of Jesus, that new leaders will be effective, and that the Micro Missions campaign would be embraced by the groups and point our communities to the glory of God.
  • Pray for the Redemption Ministry on Tuesdays – that people would understand their wrong view on worship. Pray for wisdom, boldness and protection for the leaders.
  • Pray for Midweek training – for the instructors and for those who attend. Pray that they would hear truth, be changed by truth and take the time to do the work so that it has a lasting impact in their life.
  • Pray for the Elders – that they would be unified and walk not in their own efforts, but the power of the Holy Spirit.
