Making The Band | May 4th 7-9pm (Ballard Campus) Have you ever thought about getting involved with music in Mars Hill Church? Are you looking for a way to use the musical or engineering gifts God has given you for His glory? Then come to the Making The Band meeting this Monday, May 4th in The Paradox at Mars Hill’s Ballard campus. This meeting will not be an audition, but rather an informational meeting to detail the type of people we’re looking to have serve, and will give you the chance to meet and talk with campus leaders about these opportunities. Please join us if you feel called to serve or have an interest in learning more about these opportunities.

Baby Dedications | Sunday, May 10th All Services At Mars Hill Church we don’t baptize babies, but we do celebrate their birth by publicly allowing parents to bring their little ones up on stage and introduce them to the church. If you would like to dedicate your child to the Lord on Mother’s Day, May 10th please visit this link to register or for more information.

Federal Way Campus Information Meeting | May 11th The Federal Way Campus Information Meeting is open to West Seattle members and everyone who is interested in a Mars Hill Campus being planted in the city of Federal Way. The meeting will initiate the momentum to launch the 8th MHC Campus in the fall of 2009.

Purposes of the meeting include:

• Sharing of the Vision and the Needs of the Federal Way Campus
• Signing up as the Federal Way Core Group members
• Signing up for ministry volunteer roles and responsibilities

2009 Men’s Advance – “Dying to Live” | June 5-7th This year the Men of Mars Hill West Seattle will be gathering at Lake Retreat to dig deep and explore the theme of “Dying to Live” by our Pastors. Save the date & visit westseattle.marshillchurch.org for more information and to register.

Prayers this week:

• Give thanks for all that attended Good Friday Service and Easter. Pray that people would get plugged in to community.
• Give thanks for all those who faithfully stepped forward and were baptized.
• Pray for the non-believers who heard the Gospel proclaimed on Sunday that they would hear the truth.
• Pray for the community groups that people would get a theology of place and mission. Pray against the selfishness and passiveness of man that prevents true Gospel community from being formed.
• Pray that the church would invite non-believers to the Church.
• Pray for the Trial series that many non-believers would come to know Jesus both at the Campuses and on-line.
• Pray for the campaign to raise Campus Pastors and Church Planters that 900 faithful and called men would step up.
• Pray for those who are worshiping money rather than Jesus. Pray the people would understand the deep riches of the Gospel and would desire to give out of that understanding.
