The Church.

Scripture teaches that the church is a family, adopted by God (Gal 4:6-7; Eph 1:5), and much like a human body composed of many parts (Rom 12:4-8) with Jesus Christ as the head (Eph 4:15). The analogy is clear. To become a ‘member’ of Mars Hill West Seattle (MHCWS) is to become a vital organic ‘member’ of our body and family. Are you connected? Become a Member.

On Saturday, June 27th, 8:30AM – 12:30PM, MHCWS will be hosting “Become a Member Day” for anyone interested in either becoming a member or learning more about who we are, what we believe and why we do what we do. During our time together you will meet the pastors of MHCWS, walk through all of the required membership process material, have an opportunity to sign-up to serve and meet other potential members. The final remaining step in the process will be your membership interview carried out by your community group leader.

First, get plugged into a community group. Drop by the Connect Desk on Sunday or email westseattlecommunity@marshillchurch.org to get connected. Second, start the membership process online through the City. Third, attend on June 27th. Fourth, request a membership interview through the City with your community group leader.

Jesus.

Jesus is the senior pastor (1 Peter 5:4), apostle and high priest (Heb 3:1) and cornerstone (Eph 2:20) upon which Mars Hill is built. Our hope is to see as many people as possible in relationship with him and that begins by building a healthy family through and by which our mission to Seattle takes place.
