On May 24, we looked at Psalm 34:11-22, “The Good Life”, and examined how the best life we can live is with God for God – not by denying him and indulging ourselves (irreligion) nor merely by denying ourselves so that he will bless us (religion). David invites us to find the ‘good life’ through being made righteous, living in holiness and experiencing sure deliverance in Jesus.

We said last week that the atonement doctrines of ransom and redemption are interlinked. This week I will cover redemption. So what is redemption? Deliverance upon payment of ransom. What is the deliverance? Freedom from sin. What is the payment of ransom? His blood.
