Counseling at Mars Hill Church

by Pastor James Noriega

Intro to Counseling from mhcwestseattle on Vimeo.

We at Mars Hill believe that there is no distinction between counseling and discipleship. Counseling is in fact discipleship. Thus we are taking the Great Commission seriously when Jesus says “Make disciples of all nations”  by discipling through counseling and bringing counseling back to His Church, where it rightfully belongs.

Our calling is to equip the saints to be able to deal with the “heat” of life by helping them understand the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ, Him crucified in accordance with the Scriptures for our sin, and resurrected for our salvation.

This vision will be unfolding in the coming weeks and months through Redemption Nights, Community Groups and this ongoing video blog.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we roll out material about the great gem of our faith, the atonement!
