Off to Ecuador! Please Pray.
This week I have the privilege and opportunity to travel to Ecuador to help lead, teach and participate in the first ever Latin American Acts 29 International ‘Church Planting Foundations’ conference. It will be a short, quick, and hard-hitting trip aimed at training, equipping and identifying indigenous church planters and movement leaders in Central and South America.

I am honored to serve as the US Area Director for Latin America and this is a big step in building momentum for reformed, gospel-centered church planting there. Many of our key Latin American leaders will be present as we chart the course for the next season of Acts 29 International on the continent. Please pray for our time:
Teaching
Please pray that the teaching, preaching and instruction is Christ-exalting, clear and helpful.
Language
I lived in Ecuador for nine months through the Study Abroad program at the University of Washington. While I was a fluent Spanish-speaker then I now fall in the ‘proficient’ category. Please pray this isn’t an obstacle in connecting with these pastors and magnifying Christ.
Movement Leaders
Please pray that we’re able to identify future movement leaders, particularly in countries where we don’t yet have a presence. Pray, as well, for the MHC and Acts 29 leaders that will be present as we meet, pray and strategize for the coming years.
Future
Please pray that God gives us his vision for Latin America and reveals opportunities for our campus to partner with organizations and sister-churches for future mission work.
I am thankful and humbled to be your pastor. God’s story continues…
