Our mandate is the great commission (Mt 28:18-20) and our mission is to be a city within the city of Seattle that seeks to love people, know culture and see lives transformed for Jesus. That doesn’t happen outside genuine, authentic relationship with others – particularly with those that have yet to enter into relationship with the living God through Jesus Christ. One of the ways we live this out is through summer events.

This summer, instead of creating Mars Hill specific events and inviting the community to celebrate with us, we’re going to join the community and celebrate with them – because after all we’re a part of this community, and what not a better opportunity to love the city and build relationships.

Consider what events your community group might be involved in this summer, and talk to your community group leader. Not in a group? Email westseattlecommunity@marshillchurch.org to get connected.

Events that Mars Hill West Seattle are participating in:

8.24.09 — Alki Beach Baptism and BBQ | 7pm-9pm

The Alki Beach Baptism and BBQ will be climatic cap to the various summer events in West Seattle. Mars Hill West will be participating in a beach baptism and BBQ, with epic beats via DJ Sandman, a brief message, testimonies all taking place on the most beautiful waterfront in Seattle.
